Gulmarg

Gondola Lift
Gondola Lift remains a must visit place in Gulmarg. The place hosts skiing activity during winter months. It has the highest cable car in Asia at a height of over 13,500 ft. above sea-level. The ride covers 5 kms and showcases stunning views of the valley.

The Gulmarg Ski Area
The Gulmarg Ski Area is visited by many novice as well as veteran skiing lovers. Skiing amidst pine trees and endless stretches of pearly white show is like a dream. Apart from skiing, one can also indulge in snowboarding, snow scooters and snow bobbing here. It is a great place for adventure buffs.

Alphather Lake
The stunning Alphather Lake is about 13 km away from the main town. It is covered with snow-capped hills of the Apharwat range. Till the month of June it remains blanketed with snow. The lake is pristine in nature and remains a great place to enjoy day picnic.

Baba Reshi Shrine
The Baba Reshi Shrine is a quaint little temple nestling with intricately carved out walls. The shrine has great historically significance. People come here to pray for the good health of their kids. The surroundings of this shrine are beautiful and one must click some amazing pictures here.

Nagin Valley
Nagin Valley is a heaven for trekking lovers. People visiting here can hire camping gear and enjoy camping amidst its peaceful location. Many travellers take a road trip to reach this valley to see some unseen hues of clouds.

Gulmarg Golf Course
Gulmarg Golf Course is one of the largest 18-hole golf courses in India. It is situated in the lower ranges of Gulmarg and is frequented by travellers due to its beautiful surroundings and cool ambience. Earlier the British used to visit here to spend their summer holidays. Today it remains a popular place of interest among travellers.
