Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, also known as Keoladeo Ghana National Park, is one of the finest bird sanctuaries in the world. The sanctuary is home to 366 bird species, 379 floral species, 50 species of fish, 13 species of snakes, 5 species of lizards, 7 amphibian species, 7 turtle species, and a variety of other invertebrates. The major vegetation here is tropical dry deciduous trees, beautifully blended with dry meadow in zones where backwoods has been corrupted. A significant part of the region is covered by medium-sized trees and bushes.
